This is what I've learned about my Palentine ancestor, Valentin Kuhn who was born about 1685. He was from Annsburg, Palatine region of Germany. He is listed as one of the male Paletines in 1710 who came to America. Shortly before or after arriving here he married Anna Catharina Weis. His name appears on the tax list on March 11, 1726 in the North Ward of Dutchess Co., N.Y.--possibly in Rhinebeck, Red Hook or Elizaville.

He and Sarah are buried in a small private cemetery there on the family farm.
