William was born in 1316 in Over By, Middlewich, Cheshire, Eng.  William's father was William Mainwaring and his mother was Mary Davenport.  His paternal grandparents were Roger Mainwaring and Christian Britles; his maternal grandfather was Henry Davenport.  He was an only child.  He died  due to 12 JAN 2004.
