Thomas was born in 1355 in Tremyll Manor, Thorverton, Devonshire, England.  Thomas' father was John Mill.  His paternal grandfather was Nicholas Mill.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 67 in 1422 in Harescombe, Gloucestershire, England.
