Richard was born in 1648 in Kittery,Maine.  Richard's father was Ens. Richard Nason and his mother was Sarah Baker.  His paternal grandparents were John Nason and Elizabeth Rogers; his maternal grandparents were John Baker and Sarah Wall.  He had a brother and a sister, named Baker and Mary.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 37 in 1685.
